Which phone or OS versions are required for the alerting app?

For the alerting app to function reliably, one of the prerequisites is to have an updated phone operating system. 

For Apple / iOS users, the minimum version is iOS 11, and recommended version is 16. 

For Android users, the minimum version is Android 8.0 Oreo and we target Android 13 Tiramisu. 

While we strive to support as many phone and OS platforms as possible, we cannot guarantee the app works reliably on all devices at all times. Especially when alerting on your own personal device, ensure you test this regularly.
