The FSR Alerting app sends a critical notification to your iPhone which will play a loud alarm. However, when wearing an Apple Watch, this audible alarm will only play a short beep. Therefore a setting in your iPhone needs to be changed to play the alert over the speaker of your iPhone. The iPhone speaker can play an alarm sound louder and is therefore preferred above the speaker of the Apple Watch.
Step 1: Navigate to the Watch app on your iPhone
To change the settings of your Apple Watch, you need to navigate to the Apple Watch app. It is often located in the utilities folder or simply search for Watch in your apps.
Step 2: Navigate to notifications in the Watch app
Click the second option in the list, under the my faces menu to edit the notifications on your Apple Watch.
Step 3: Turn off FSR Alerting for mirroring alerts
When scrolling down the notifications menu it will show you a list of which iPhone alerts should be mirrored on your Apple Watch. Since we do not want to play the alert of the FSR Alerting app on the Apple Watch, make sure to turn off the FSR Alerting app here.
That's it! You're all set now for the next alert!
