As a supervisor you can review which modules have been enabled for your station(s). Using these modules FireServiceRota can enable and disable features and functionality to tailor the system to your needs. Some of them are free, some others come at a cost. Reach out to helpdesk@fireservicerota.com for questions or enable or try out modules.
- Team Rota and Team Exchange
Divide the station members in watches and manage availability both on a personal and a watch level. Allow users to temporarily step in/out of watches for backup. - Crew confirmation
When integrated to Command & Control or when triggering an alert in FireServiceRota allow crew to confirm (or reject) their attendance using the smartphone app or 2-way pagers. Their real-time responses can be tracked on the station kiosk. - (Standby) Duty
Allow certain (or all) station members to plan their work using shifts (our blue shifts). Shifts override on-call availability (green availability). Multiple shift types can be set up and they may require a certain skill to fulfill. Allow crew to exchange with qualified colleagues. Integrate assigned skills with a personal iCal calendar (e.g. Google or Outlook). - Standby Duty Template Planning
Allows assigning duties/shifts to crew members based on a predefined pattern. - Plan shifts using a fixed duty regime
By default all work and availability is managed on a 15-minute granularity. A duty regime (duty patterns) allows summarizing this in e.g. day or night shifts whilst allowing the 15-minute level of detail to be shown. - Pagers
Allow connection of 2-way (smart) pagers. E.g. the Swissphone sQuad or ResQ pager. - Geofencing
If crew members allow tracking of their location, this can be compared to an 'available zone' drawn around the station. If they are available and outside of this zone they will be warned. More information here. - Experimental features
Undisclosed fun stuff to experiment with before it goes mainstream. If you need more information about these please reach out to our helpdesk. - Station display PC
Allows logging in on a special station monitor account that has read-only access. When integrated to Command & Control this kiosk screen can show the real-time availability of crew. - Understaffing warning message
Warn crew if they are booking unavailable causing crewing levels to drop below minimum. - Shortage resolution warning
When integrated with Command & Control the system may try to solve critical cases of crewing deficiencies at the moment of alerting. The system will automatically look for qualified personnel that booked unavailable, requesting them to respond anyway and save the day. - Contracts
Allows setting and tracking work targets and statistics for types of shifts. - Alerting
Allows using FireServiceRota as a backup alerting mechanism through (mobile) internet connections. - On-call planning
Remove all on-call elements for purely whole time stations.
